Daniel Dubois is planning to challenge the heavyweight champion of the world, namely Oleksandr Usyk or Tyson Fury.
The young Londoner holds the regular WBA belt. This title is considered lightweight, the second belt to the WBA heavyweight championship held by Oleksandr Usyk along with the IBF and WBO titles.
But it left Dubois well placed in the division and on the line to be a mandatory challenger to Usyk’s WBA title.

Dubois’ team believes that he is the first to be named as Usyk’s opponent.
“We get this shot, the next in line, because Usyk has all the other belts, he has the IBF, WBO and WBA, Fury has the WBC. Among the IBF, WBA and WBO, Daniel is the first in line.” The WBA was first in line to get the shot,” McGuigan explained.
