Dallas, TX – October 24, 2022 – It’s starting to look a lot like awards show season, and Marvin Sapp is in his 7thm The Soul Train Music Award nomination followed weeks after his single “All in Your Hands” peaked on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay chart. He was nominated in the Best Gospel/Inspirational category.
Marvin Sapp is a two-time Soul Train Music Award winner, and he was excited when his name was announced as a nominee. “I love that the Soul Train Music Awards continue the great tradition of celebrating black joy through music,” Sapp said. “It’s an honor and a privilege to be recognized this year for releasing music that made people smile and gave people a sense of hope.”

“I started pastoring a new church in a new city a few months before the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. We have had virtual services for almost two years, so this year has been one of renewed focus and revival at the Chosen Vessel Cathedral. Mass baptism was a time of refreshing for all of us.”
