The music service said the annual winners are chosen through a process that reflects both Apple Music’s editorial vision and what consumers around the world are listening to the most.

He leads the list of Latin Grammy nominations on Nov. 17 with 10 nods — including album of the year and record of the year for the single “Ojitos Lindos,” featuring Bomba Estereo. He has won Spotify majors in the Best of 2020 categories such as Best Artist and Most Streamed Male Artist.

Bad Bunny was the year’s top seller and first all-Spanish debut on the Billboard 200 album chart. This year, he is the only artist in history to land two separate $100-million tours in less than 12 months with his “El Ultimo Tour del Mundo” and “World’s Hottest Tour.”

Last year at the Apple Music Awards, Rodrigo was named Artist of the Year, his “Sour” won Album of the Year and his “Driver’s License” Song of the Year. He was Songwriter of the Year and The Weeknd was named Global Artist of the Year.
