Nov. 9 (UPI) — The 2022 Country Music Awards will take place on Wednesday at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Country star and last year’s CMA host, Luke Bryan, will co-host this year with retired football star Peyton Manning.

How to see

The CMAs will air Wednesday at 8 pm EST on ABC and stream the following day on Hulu It’s also available on ABC.com, Sling, Fubo TV for those with accounts.

Presenters include Mookie Bates, Breland, Jessica Chastain, Jordan Davis, Sarah Drew, Cole Houser, Tyler Hubbard, Winona Judd, Lady A, Rex Lynn, Little Big Town, Parker McCollum, Reba McEntire, Ben and Erin Napier, Lionel Richie, jessina See, Michael Shannon and Lenny Wilson.

the performer

The show will begin with Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert’s tribute to the late Loretta Lynn. It will feature several artist collaborations, including Kelsea Ballerini, Kelly Clarkson and Carly Pearce performing “You’re Drunk, Go Home”. Brothers Osborne and The War and Treaty performing “It’s Only Rock and Roll (But I Love It);” Hardy and Lainey Wilson performing “Wait in the Truck;” Eli King and The. The Black Keys performing “Great Ball of Fire”; Ashley McBride, Brandi Clark, Kelly Hammack, Pillbox Patty and John Osbourne perform “When Will I Love; Thomas Rhett and Katy Perry perform “Where We Begin” Chris Stapleton and Patti Lovelace perform “You’ll Never Leave Harlan Alive;” and The Zac Brown Band, Jimmy Allen and Marcus King perform “Out in the Middle.” There will also be performances by Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson and Cole Swindell.

Lifetime honors

Alan Jackson will receive the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, which is presented to a performer who has achieved the highest recognition in country music. Country luminaries Dierks Bentley, John Purdy, Carrie Underwood and Lenny Wilson will pay tribute to Jackson.

The nominees

“Things A Man Doesn’t Know” singer Lenny Wilson leads with six nominations, including album of the year, song of the year and vocalist of the year. Ashley McBride, Carly Pearce, Chris Stapleton and Shane McAnally received five nominations each.

Entertainer of the Year nominees include Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood and Morgan Wallen.
